about

In the summer of 1988, my band Crome Yellow had a garage on the north end of Rochester, you know, one of those storage garage places. In a way, it was one of my first "adult" places, since I was only 20 years old. We hung out there a lot, even when we weren't practicing. Often before or after band practice, Jim Martin (Crome Yellow's drummer) was kind enough to jam with me and help record versions of some of my new songs. As such, besides capturing a unique period of my life, I love this album because it has a band feel, all thanks to Jim. I must have felt like it was on of my first "real" albums; I recall printing up 100 cassette liners! Forever a favorite.

about

Tony Pucci Rochester, Minnesota

Tony Pucci is one of those artsy guys. You know, he thinks and acts like he’s a poet, a musician, a songwriter, and an empathetic observer of life. It’s true, he can’t help himself; it’s often how he interprets the world. How else do you explain 130 CDs (and counting), as well as a few poetry books? Tony's music is dreamy and melancholic, yet sweet, featuring layers of guitar. Check it out! ... more
